PARTICIPATION OF THE LEADERSHIP OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE DANGARA FREE ECONOMIC ZONE IN THE INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT FORUM “KHATLON INVEST — 2026”

On 22 October 2026, the International Investment Forum “Khatlon Invest — 2026” was held in Bokhtar at the initiative of the Executive Body of State Authority of Khatlon Region. The leadership of the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone and representatives of entities operating within the zone participated in the event.
The International Investment Forum “Khatlon Invest — 2026” opened with an address by Hakim Hikmatullo Kholikzoda, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan. The forum brought together representatives of government ministries and agencies, free economic zones, international and financial organisations, domestic and foreign investors, as well as manufacturing, trading and logistics companies.
During the forum, Abdurahmon Safarali Abdurahmonzoda, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, delivered an address, emphasising the importance of attracting domestic and foreign investment, developing industry and agriculture, deep processing of raw materials, creating new jobs, and strengthening the export potential of Khatlon Region and the country as a whole. It was noted that holding such events creates favourable conditions for showcasing investment opportunities, expanding economic and trade cooperation, and implementing new manufacturing projects.

As part of the forum, the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone and its resident entities showcased their manufactured products at the exhibition, presenting the zone’s investment opportunities, production capacity, priority areas of activity, and prospects for further development to forum participants and guests.
The participation of the leadership of the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone in this international forum is of significant importance in promoting the zone’s economic and industrial potential, attracting the attention of domestic and foreign investors, establishing new business contacts, and strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation.
One of the key developments of the forum was the signing of one agreement and four memoranda of cooperation. These documents are aimed at developing economic and investment relations, expanding business cooperation, and creating favourable conditions for implementing joint initiatives. This step can be regarded as an important milestone in strengthening economic cooperation and creating new opportunities for the development of manufacturing and entrepreneurial activities.
Within the framework of the constructive and far-sighted policy pursued by the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone will continue to implement the necessary measures to attract domestic and foreign investment, develop national industry, create new jobs, increase the production of competitive products, and expand international economic cooperation.
