VISIT OF INVESTORS FROM THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE DANGARA FREE ECONOMIC ZONE

On October 21, 2026, a meeting was held at the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone between the Head of the Administration, Jamshid Abdusaid Sobirzoda, and a delegation of investors from the People’s Republic of China.

In its activities, the leadership of the Dangara Free Economic Zone Administration is guided by the directives and guidance of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon. It implements the necessary measures to foster a favourable investment climate, attract foreign investment, develop domestic production, and create new jobs.
During the meeting, the Head of the Administration, Jamshid Abdusaid Sobirzoda, warmly welcomed the guests and provided an overview of the zone’s extensive investment opportunities, favourable geographical location, incentives provided for under the applicable legislation, and the conditions established to support the effective operations of domestic businesses and foreign investors.
It was emphasized that, taking into account its existing potential and available opportunities, the Dangara Free Economic Zone can provide a favourable environment for the implementation of new industrial projects, the development of economic and trade cooperation, and the expansion of mutually beneficial relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China.
The parties discussed issues related to prospects for further cooperation, investment attraction, the establishment of new manufacturing enterprises, and the implementation of joint projects.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue, strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation, and explore new investment opportunities.
Within the framework of the constructive and forward-looking policy pursued by the country’s top leadership and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone will continue its efforts to attract domestic and foreign investment, develop production capacity, and strengthen international economic cooperation.
