CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE DANGARA FREE ECONOMIC ZONE JAMSHED SOBIRZODA ON THE OCCASION OF THE STATE LANGUAGE DAY OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN

Dear Compatriots!
It is with great respect and sincere appreciation that I warmly congratulate you — the employees of the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone, entrepreneurs and investors, representatives of the intellectual community, and all the noble people of Tajikistan — on the State Language Day of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Tajik language, as the state language, is one of the sacred foundations of statehood and an important factor in strengthening national unity, self-awareness and national identity. Throughout its many-thousand-year history, this ancient and rich language has established itself as a language of culture and enlightenment, science and literature, and national thought, making a significant contribution to the formation and development of the civilization of the Tajik people.
In this beautiful and expressive language, not only priceless literary works of global significance have been created, but great scholars of the Tajik nation have also produced valuable scientific works that have made a worthy contribution to the advancement of various fields of science and knowledge, including the natural and exact sciences. Therefore, since ancient times, the Tajik language has been not only a language of culture and literature, but also a language of science, education and knowledge.
Today, thanks to the constructive, culture-oriented and far-sighted policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, the preservation, development and strengthening of the status of the Tajik language as the state language is one of the important priorities of the state’s cultural and spiritual policy.
The adoption of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the State Language of the Republic of Tajikistan” and the consistent measures undertaken by the state leadership to preserve and develop the state language have created a solid foundation for strengthening the status of the Tajik language in all spheres of public life.
In an era of rapid scientific and technological development and expanding globalization processes, it is the responsibility of every citizen, especially intellectuals, scholars, specialists, teachers and young people, to contribute to the continuous development of the Tajik language, the enrichment of its expressive potential, and the adaptation of its terminology and vocabulary to the requirements of the modern era.
At the same time, compliance with the norms of the literary language, improvement of speech culture, and preservation of the eloquence and richness of the mother tongue should always remain in the focus of every citizen. Respect for the state language and appreciation of the mother tongue are manifested, first and foremost, through correct and грамотное writing, adherence to the norms of the literary language, and a high culture of communication.
Therefore, it is necessary to continuously pay attention to the culture of speech, the proper expression of thoughts and the appropriate use of the possibilities of the Tajik language, protecting our mother tongue from incorrect usage, linguistic errors and the unjustified use of foreign words and terminology.
During the years of state independence, significant work has been carried out to promote and popularize the Tajik language, improve the level of speech culture, develop national culture and expand language awareness. This process continues with the consistent support of the state and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In particular, valuable works by outstanding classical and contemporary Tajik writers and poets are regularly published and made widely accessible to society, especially to the younger generation and youth. These initiatives are of great importance for strengthening national awareness, developing a culture of reading, and fostering respect for the national language and culture.
In this regard, it is particularly important for the younger generation and youth to make the fullest possible use of this invaluable spiritual heritage, to constantly strive to write correctly and proficiently, to speak the Tajik literary language, and to demonstrate respect for the state language in everyday communication.
Language, nation and state are inseparably interconnected concepts. The stability of the state, the continuity of the nation and the preservation of national identity are ensured through language. The existence of a language is a guarantee of the existence of a nation, its national self-awareness and an important foundation for the preservation of its culture and civilization. The scientific, literary, cultural and spiritual heritage of a nation is preserved primarily through language and passed from one generation to another.
In view of this, the sacred responsibility of the state and society, particularly the intellectual community, is, alongside creating favourable conditions for the thorough and proper study of the Tajik language, to promote and advance it as a language of national unity and one of the important foundations of statehood.
I am confident that each of us, with a strong sense of patriotism and civic responsibility, will make a worthy contribution to preserving the purity of the Tajik language, strengthening its status as the state language, and further developing our beautiful native language.
Once again, I sincerely congratulate all our dear compatriots, the employees of the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone, entrepreneurs and investors, representatives of the intellectual community, and every patriotic citizen of the country on the State Language Day of the Republic of Tajikistan. I wish every family in our country peace and tranquillity, lasting stability, happiness and prosperity, abundance and well-being, as well as ever greater success in preserving and developing our beautiful and melodious native language.

Happy State Language Day of the Republic of Tajikistan!
