Dear Teachers and Esteemed Educators,
It is my great pleasure and honour to extend my sincere congratulations to all of you on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. I wish you, first and foremost, good health, family well-being, renewed strength, significant achievements, and continued success in fulfilling your noble and responsible professional mission.
Teaching is one of the most honourable, responsible and demanding professions in society. As educators of the younger generation, guides on the path to knowledge, and custodians of moral and spiritual values, teachers play an exceptionally important role in shaping individuals and contributing to the development of society. Through their knowledge, experience and dedication, teachers guide the younger generation towards a meaningful and constructive path, fostering in them a sense of patriotism, national identity, responsibility, and respect for national and universal human values.
It is a matter of great pride that, during the period of the country’s independence, under the constructive policy and initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, education has become one of the priority areas of state policy. Consistent and effective measures are being implemented to further develop the education sector and enhance the status and standing of teachers.
The special attention paid by the Leader of the Nation to education and teachers is clearly reflected in the adoption and implementation of important state legislation, including the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Status of Teachers”, adopted on the initiative and with the support of the Head of State. This important initiative provides a legal foundation for strengthening the social and professional status of teachers, protecting their rights and interests, and creating favourable conditions for their professional activities.
The adoption of such an important legislative act once again demonstrates the particular attention given by the state and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to the status and standing of teachers, their rights, social guarantees and professional activities. The sustainable development of society, the improvement of public education and the upbringing of a knowledgeable and constructive generation are directly linked to the quality of education and upbringing, as well as to the dedicated work of teachers.
In his speeches and meetings, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, consistently emphasizes the important role of teachers in the development of society and the upbringing of the younger generation, describing teaching as one of the most noble and honourable professions. The continued care and support provided by the state and the Government further strengthen the responsibility of every teacher towards society, the state and future generations.
Indeed, teachers illuminate the path of knowledge and learning, showing their students the way towards a dignified life and constructive contribution to society. Therefore, the mission of a teacher extends beyond the transmission of knowledge; it also encompasses the upbringing of well-rounded, patriotic, educated, conscious and responsible individuals. The dedicated and selfless work of teachers plays an important role in educating a constructive generation and contributing to the continued development of the state and the nation.
The achievements of the education sector and the successes of the country’s students in various fields are the result of the dedicated work, responsibility, knowledge and professional expertise of outstanding teachers. Experienced educators and young teachers, through their devoted work, make a valuable contribution to improving the quality of education and upbringing, advancing knowledge and learning, and preparing qualified professionals.
I am confident that esteemed teachers and educators will continue, with a strong sense of responsibility, dedication to their noble profession and love for their homeland, to make a valuable contribution to the implementation of state policy in the field of education, the improvement of the quality of teaching and upbringing, and the education of the younger generation — the builders of the future of independent Tajikistan.
Once again, I sincerely congratulate all of you — esteemed teachers and educators — on Teachers’ Day and wish you good health, prosperity, family happiness, renewed strength, a positive and constructive spirit, and continued success in your noble teaching profession.
Happy Teachers’ Day, dear teachers and educators!
