VISIT OF INVESTORS FROM THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE DANGARA FREE ECONOMIC ZONE

Within the framework of the implementation of the constructive policy and strategic directions of the economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan, carried out on the basis of the initiatives and instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, including those aimed at attracting domestic and foreign investment, developing industrial production and strengthening international economic cooperation, the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone continues to expand mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign partners.

On 23 September 2026, Mr. Jamshed Abdusaid Sobirzoda, Head of the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone, received investors from the People’s Republic of China.
During the meeting, the guests were introduced to the activities of the Administration of the Dangara FEZ, available investment opportunities, production infrastructure, as well as the production capacities of enterprises operating within the zone.
As part of the visit, a working meeting was held in the conference hall of the Administration of the Dangara FEZ. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to investment opportunities, the establishment of new manufacturing enterprises, the efficient use of existing production capacities, the introduction of modern technologies, and the development of economic and trade cooperation.
The investors were provided with detailed information on the incentives and opportunities provided by the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan for investment activities in free economic zones, favourable conditions for doing business, existing infrastructure, and measures of state support for investors.
It was emphasized that the Republic of Tajikistan attaches particular importance to the development of economic cooperation with the People’s Republic of China. The expansion of trade and investment ties, implementation of joint manufacturing projects, and attraction of Chinese investment into various sectors of the national economy are important areas of bilateral cooperation.
The parties expressed their readiness to continue constructive engagement, strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation, and consider opportunities for implementing new investment projects within the Dangara Free Economic Zone.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual respect, understanding and constructive cooperation, creating a favourable foundation for further strengthening economic and investment ties between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China.
