VISIT OF AN INVESTOR FROM THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE DANGARA FREE ECONOMIC ZONE

The friendly and fraternal relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, strengthened through the constructive policy and consistent efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, continue to develop on the basis of mutual respect, trust and understanding, creating favorable conditions for expanding economic, trade and investment ties.

In this context, on September 22, 2026, the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone hosted an investor from the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the visit, the investor became acquainted with the activities of enterprises operating within the Zone, production capacities and infrastructure opportunities. During a working meeting, the parties discussed investment opportunities, conditions for conducting business activities and prospective areas for further cooperation.
Head of the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone, Sobirzoda Jamshed Abdusaid, provided information on the Zone’s opportunities and favorable conditions for the implementation of investment projects, emphasizing the Administration’s readiness to support investment initiatives and further strengthen cooperation.
The visit took place in the spirit of the friendly relations and growing cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and provides a favorable foundation for further strengthening business ties, attracting investment and implementing new economic projects between the two friendly neighboring countries.
