VISIT OF INVESTORS FROM THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE “DANGARA” FREE ECONOMIC ZONE

On 25 August 2026, a delegation of investors and business representatives from the Islamic Republic of Iran visited the Administration of the “Dangara” Free Economic Zone with the aim of strengthening economic and investment cooperation, exploring existing investment opportunities, and discussing new areas of mutually beneficial partnership.
The investors were received by Mr. Jamshed Abdusaid Sobirzoda, Head of the Administration of the “Dangara” Free Economic Zone, who provided the delegation with detailed information on the Zone’s extensive investment opportunities, modern infrastructure, favorable conditions for business activities, tax and customs incentives, opportunities for the allocation of land plots, as well as other conditions established for the implementation of investment projects.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to attracting direct investment, establishing new manufacturing enterprises, implementing joint investment projects, creating new employment opportunities, developing domestic production, and further expanding economic and trade cooperation between the business communities of the two countries.
It was emphasized that the friendly, historical and cultural ties between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran provide a strong foundation for the further development of mutually beneficial economic and investment cooperation.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue, strengthen economic partnership, and facilitate the implementation of joint investment projects.
