MEETING OF THE DELEGATION OF INVESTORS FROM THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA WITH THE LEADERSHIP OF THE DANGHARA FREE ECONOMIC ZONE ADMINISTRATION

On 20 July 2026, the Head of the Danghara Free Economic Zone Administration, Mr. Sobirzoda Jamshed Abdusaid, held an official meeting with a delegation of investors from the People’s Republic of China.
During the meeting, the parties held comprehensive discussions on further expanding bilateral economic, trade and investment cooperation, attracting foreign direct investment, establishing new industrial enterprises, introducing advanced technologies, promoting industrial development, and making effective use of the investment potential and competitive advantages of the Danghara Free Economic Zone.

It was emphasized that, under the far-sighted and constructive policies of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, a favorable investment climate has been created to promote entrepreneurship, attract domestic and foreign investment, accelerate industrialization, and ensure the sustainable development of the country’s free economic zones. The Chinese delegation received detailed information on tax and customs incentives, existing infrastructure, government guarantees, and the broad investment opportunities available within the Danghara Free Economic Zone.
Both sides highly appreciated the friendly, brotherly and comprehensive strategic partnership between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China, emphasizing that, under the leadership of the Heads of the two friendly nations, relations based on good-neighborliness, mutual trust, mutual respect and mutually beneficial cooperation continue to develop dynamically and provide a solid foundation for expanding economic and trade relations, fostering entrepreneurship, attracting investment, and implementing major joint development projects.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties discussed the proposed establishment of a solar panel manufacturing plant within the Danghara Free Economic Zone and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening long-term cooperation, implementing new investment initiatives, and further enhancing the strategic economic partnership between the two friendly and brotherly countries.
