MEETING OF THE HEAD OF THE DANGHARA FREE ECONOMIC ZONE WITH AN INVESTOR FROM UKRAINE

Within the framework of the constructive economic policy and continuous support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, aimed at improving the investment climate, attracting foreign investment, and developing free economic zones, a meeting was held on June 22, 2026, at the Administration of the Danghara Free Economic Zone between the Head of the Administration, Sobirzoda Jamshed Abdusaid, and an investor from Ukraine.

During the meeting, the guest was provided with detailed information on the Zone’s broad investment opportunities, existing infrastructure, priority areas of industrial and service activities, as well as tax and customs incentives available to the entities operating within free economic zones.
It was also emphasized that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, under the leadership of the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, has created favorable conditions for attracting both domestic and foreign investment and promoting industrial development, thereby providing a solid foundation for the implementation of investment projects.
The parties discussed issues related to the development of economic and investment cooperation, implementation of joint projects, and attraction of investment into priority sectors of the national economy.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation and implement new investment projects within the territory of the Danghara Free Economic Zone.
