VISIT OF INVESTORS FROM THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE DANGHARA FREE ECONOMIC ZONE

On May 14, 2026, within the framework of strengthening economic and investment cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China, a delegation of Chinese investors visited the Administration of the Danghara Free Economic Zone. The guests were warmly welcomed by the Head of the Administration, Sobirzoda Jamshed Abdusaid.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China, under the wise and far-sighted policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, have reached a new level of strategic partnership and continue to expand steadily.
It was also noted that the state visit of the Leader of the Nation, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, to the People’s Republic of China is currently ongoing, with particular attention being paid to attracting foreign investment, developing industrial cooperation, and strengthening bilateral economic relations.
The Head of the Administration provided the guests with detailed information about the investment opportunities of the zone, tax and customs incentives, existing infrastructure, favorable business conditions, and state support measures for investors.
During the meeting, Sobirzoda Jamshed Abdusaid stated that the Administration of the Danghara Free Economic Zone is committed to creating all necessary conditions and providing comprehensive support for both domestic and foreign investors to ensure the successful implementation of industrial and investment projects.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation and implement new investment projects in the region.
