With profound respect and sincere warmth, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all dear mothers and esteemed women on the occasion of Mother’s Day — a celebration of beauty, love, devotion, and recognition of the high status of women in society.
Indeed, the role of a woman — a mother — in our modern society is exceptionally significant and decisive. A mother is the source of life, the educator of a humane and patriotic generation, the foundation of morality and enlightenment, and the guiding light of every home. The Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, emphasizes:
“A mother is the source of life, the light of the family, and the educator of a humane and patriotic generation.”
Thanks to the wise and humanistic policy of the Leader of the Nation during the years of independence, the status of women in society has been significantly strengthened, and solid legal and social foundations have been established to ensure gender equality in all spheres of public life. The adoption and implementation of national strategies and state programs aimed at enhancing the status of women, providing social support, and promoting them to leadership positions clearly demonstrate the continuous attention of the state and the Government to this active and constructive segment of society.
Today, Tajik women make a valuable contribution alongside men to the development of the national economy, industry, entrepreneurship, public administration, and production activities. It is encouraging that the number of women in leadership positions at all levels continues to grow each year, demonstrating professionalism, responsibility, strong determination, and devotion to the Motherland.
