Visit of investors from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone

On September 6, 2025, a delegation of investors from the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by representatives of responsible economic structures, visited the Administration of the “Dangara” Free Economic Zone.

The Head of the Administration warmly welcomed the guests and introduced them in detail to the activities of a number of manufacturing enterprises in the region, their potential and the practical results of entrepreneurs.

During the working visit, the guests got acquainted with the production capabilities, infrastructure capacity and favorable conditions for investment in the “Dangara” Free Economic Zone.

Then, an official meeting was held in the conference room of the Administration building. At this meeting, which was attended by the Head of the Administration, Deputy Chairman of Khatlon Region, representatives of the State Committee for Investments and State Property, entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of the Administrations of the “Panj” and “Kulob” Free Economic Zones, issues of expanding economic cooperation, attracting foreign investment and launching joint projects were discussed.

In his speech, the Head of the Administration recalled the constant support and attention of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in the direction of the formation and development of free economic zones, and noted that today all the necessary conditions are created for attracting foreign investment, developing entrepreneurship and implementing joint projects. Modern infrastructure, legal privileges and state support are a reliable basis for the effective activities of investors.

The delegation of investors from the Islamic Republic of Iran also expressed satisfaction with the created conditions and favorable opportunities of free economic zones, and expressed their readiness to implement joint projects in various sectors of production, trade and services.
