VISIT OF INVESTORS FROM THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE DANGARA FREE ECONOMIC ZONE

Within the framework of the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, aimed at expanding economic and investment cooperation, attracting foreign capital, and strengthening good-neighborly relations with countries of the region, a group of investors from the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone on September 19, 2026, to explore investment opportunities, production potential, and conditions for conducting business activities.

During the meeting, the guests were provided with detailed information on investment opportunities, incentives and advantages available to FEZ entities, production and engineering infrastructure, as well as priority areas for the development of economic activities within the Dangara Free Economic Zone.
The parties discussed opportunities for expanding economic and investment cooperation, attracting foreign direct investment, establishing new manufacturing enterprises, and implementing joint projects. They also exchanged views on the effective use of the FEZ’s existing potential and the development of new business initiatives.
During the meeting, it was noted that the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan are neighboring, friendly, and brotherly states whose peoples share historical and cultural ties. The development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, and investment contributes to the further strengthening of bilateral relations.
The Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone, within the framework of the constructive and forward-looking policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, continues to take consistent measures to create favorable conditions for investors, develop industrial production, attract foreign capital, and expand international economic cooperation.
The visit provides a favorable basis for further strengthening economic and investment ties between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, implementing joint projects, and developing long-term cooperation, while contributing to the further strengthening of friendly and brotherly relations between the two neighboring states.
