VISIT OF A DELEGATION OF INVESTORS FROM THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE “ONE BELT — ONE ROAD” INITIATIVE TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE DANGHARA FREE ECONOMIC ZONE

Within the framework of the constructive economic policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, aimed at strengthening international cooperation and attracting foreign investment, on May 18, 2026, a delegation of investors from the People’s Republic of China, within the framework of the international “One Belt — One Road” initiative, visited the Administration of the Danghara Free Economic Zone.

The guests were received by the Head of the Administration of the Danghara Free Economic Zone, Sobirzoda Jamshed Abdusaid, who presented comprehensive information on the investment opportunities, industrial infrastructure, export potential, as well as tax and customs incentives available in the zone.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of trade and economic cooperation, the establishment of joint manufacturing enterprises, the attraction of modern technologies, and the implementation of priority investment projects.

It was emphasized that the “One Belt — One Road” initiative serves as an important factor in strengthening regional economic ties, promoting industrial development, and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further develop long-term cooperation, attract investment into the national economy, and implement joint projects within the territory of the Danghara Free Economic Zone.
