MEETING OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE KHATLON REGIONAL CUSTOMS SERVICE WITH THE ADMINISTRATION AND RESIDENT ENTITIES OF THE DANGARA FREE ECONOMIC ZONE

On March 18, 2026, a working meeting was held at the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone between representatives of the Khatlon Regional Customs Service, the Head of the Administration, and managers and employees of the zone’s resident entities.
During the meeting, key issues related to customs operations, the creation of favorable conditions for business development, the simplification of customs procedures, and the effective use of the opportunities and incentives available within the zone were discussed.

In the course of the discussions, the parties paid particular attention to the comprehensive support of resident entities, ensuring transparency in customs operations, improving the quality of services, and establishing effective and mutually beneficial cooperation.
The participants also exchanged views on existing challenges and obstacles, proposing specific measures for their timely resolution and the prevention of factors hindering economic activity.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was emphasized that close cooperation between the Customs Service and the Administration of the Dangara Free Economic Zone will contribute to improving the investment climate, advancing industrial activities, and enhancing the economic potential of the region.
