MEETING OF THE HEAD OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE “DANGARA” FREE ECONOMIC ZONE WITH INVESTORS FROM THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

On November 16, 2025, the Head of the Administration held a working meeting with two groups of investors from the People’s Republic of China. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the existing investment opportunities in the Republic of Tajikistan, favorable conditions for business activity, developing infrastructure, and a set of supports and privileges offered by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to foreign investors.

The Head of the Administration emphasized that Tajikistan attaches special importance to the expansion of economic and investment cooperation with the People’s Republic of China and is ready to create all the necessary conditions for the implementation of joint projects. During the meeting, priority areas, including industry, energy, agriculture, transport, modern technologies and tourism, were discussed, and the real economic opportunities of the country were explained in detail to investors.

Chinese investors expressed satisfaction with the favorable conditions, macroeconomic stability and open door policy implemented by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and expressed their readiness to expand cooperation and implement long-term joint projects.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed hope that economic and trade cooperation between the two countries will continue to strengthen and contribute to the sustainable socio-economic development of both sides.
