Participation of the Head of the Dangara Free Economic Zone Administration in the Economic and Investment Forum of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic

On July 8, 2025, the Economic and Investment Forum of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic was held in the solemn hall of the State Institution “Kohi Istiqlol”, which was attended and addressed by the founder of peace and national unity— Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.

The high-level meeting was also attended by the head of the Dangara Free Economic Zone Administration, who held constructive meetings with representatives of influential business circles of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the bilateral meetings, the sides discussed important issues of developing trade cooperation, attracting investments in modern infrastructure and expanding the production capacity of the Dangara Free Economic Zone. The willingness expressed by the sides of both countries to expand mutually beneficial relations in various spheres of the economy proved that strong will and mutual respect have created a good basis for the development of cooperation.

Within the framework of this forum, an official document on cooperation and memoranda were signed between the administration of the Dangara free economic zone and investors of the Kyrgyz Republic. These important interdepartmental documents will serve as a reliable basis for further development of economic ties and attraction of foreign investments.

This forum is considered as one of the significant events in the development of regional economic relations, the presentation of the country’s investment opportunities and the strengthening of inter-sectoral cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
