Priority activities

The FEZ is an industrial and innovation zone, therefore the priority activities in the FEZ can be considered activities that have novelty, as well as activities that are not widespread or little represented on the territory of Tajikistan:

  • Manufacture of sewing threads, knitwear, artificial and synthetic fabrics, fabrics and finished products from silk and cotton yarn, finished fabric and garment from wool, processing of skins of large and small cattle with the final release of ready-made tannery, footwear and leather haberdashery;
  • Dyeing fabrics and production of finished products for the garment industry, the manufacture of parquet and upholstery fabric, the production of accessories for various applications;
  • Manufacture of armchairs and furniture;
  • Manufacture of artificial and synthetic paints;
  • Manufacture of starch, microcellulose, nitrocellulose;
  • Mechanical engineering (assembly and production of cars, tractors and various brands of machinery for agriculture and other industries, spare parts for them, equipment, machinery and technology for the processing industry, equipment for the service sector, water pumps and others);
  • Manufacture of non-metallic pipes for various industries;
  • Manufacture of electrotechnical, radio-electronic and home appliances;
  • Production of mineral fertilizers and bioadditives for agriculture;
  • Processing of natural stones, production of building and finishing materials;
  • Manufacture of glass fiber and basalt and finished products;
  • Manufacture of modern building materials (glass, windows and doors, heat-retaining wall blocks and panels of international standards, plastic finishing materials (excluding building bricks);
  • Manufacture of gypsum articles;
  • Manufacture of various brands of electrical wires;
  • Production of products from household waste (without primary processing);
  • Manufacture of perfumes and chemical washing powders;
  • Manufacture of pharmaceutical products and medicines;
  • Manufacture of machinery and equipment for health;
  • Manufacture of lighting fixtures and products;
  • Estimated, credit, insurance, consulting, auditing, leasing and certification activities;
  • Import-export operations;
  • Activities to provide information support;
  • Activities in the field of scientific and technological research, innovation, the development of nanotechnology and biotechnology and others.
