On 27 August 2026, the International Investment Forum entitled \u201cDigitalization of Free Economic Zones in the Context of Eurasian Countries\u201d was held in Guliston, Sughd Region.
\nThe forum brought together representatives of government authorities, heads of free economic zones, investors, entrepreneurs, representatives of international organizations and the private sector, as well as domestic and foreign business communities.<\/p>\n

Representatives of the Administration of the \u201cDangara\u201d Free Economic Zone, together with the heads and representatives of enterprises operating within the zone, actively participated in the forum and presented the investment opportunities, production potential, manufactured products and export capacities of the \u201cDangara\u201d Free Economic Zone.
\nAs part of the forum, an exhibition of products manufactured by entities of the country\u2019s free economic zones was held. Entities of the \u201cDangara\u201d Free Economic Zone also participated in the exhibition, presenting their manufactured products, production achievements, existing capacities and prospects for further development.
\nDigitalization and Development of Free Economic Zones
\nDuring the forum, key issues related to the development of free economic zones, attraction of domestic and foreign investment, digitalization of service and management processes, development of modern infrastructure, enhancement of the competitiveness of national production, and creation of favorable conditions for entrepreneurial and investment activities were discussed.
\nThe event was attended by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Economic Affairs, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, Deputy Chairman of Sughd Region, representatives of international organizations and other government authorities. The participants addressed current issues of economic development, investment and digitalization of free economic zones.
\nIt was emphasized that the introduction of digital technologies and modern management systems is an important factor in improving the efficiency of free economic zones, enhancing the investment climate and strengthening international economic cooperation.
\nAchievements of the \u201cDangara\u201d Free Economic Zone Entities
\nOne of the key highlights of the forum was the ceremony recognizing the best manufacturers and exporters of the country\u2019s free economic zones.
\nIt is a matter of particular pride that two entities of the \u201cDangara\u201d Free Economic Zone were recognized as \u201cBest Manufacturers\u201d, while one entity was recognized as the \u201cBest Exporter\u201d and received the respective awards.
\nIn addition, certificates confirming the status of an entity of the \u201cDangara\u201d Free Economic Zone were presented to four other companies.
\nThese achievements demonstrate the effective performance of the zone\u2019s entities, the development of competitive production, the strengthening of export capacity and the creation of new opportunities for entrepreneurial development.
\nStrengthening Economic and Investment Cooperation
\nOn the sidelines of the forum, a number of business meetings and negotiations were held to discuss the expansion of economic and investment cooperation and the implementation of joint projects. A ceremony for the signing of memoranda of understanding between interested parties was also held.
\nThe participation of the Administration and entities of the \u201cDangara\u201d Free Economic Zone in this international forum contributed to the promotion of the zone\u2019s investment and production potential, establishment of new business contacts, attraction of potential investors and further strengthening of economic and trade cooperation.
\nThe Administration of the \u201cDangara\u201d Free Economic Zone will continue to strengthen its efforts to attract domestic and foreign investment, develop modern production, support economic entities, expand export capacity and implement new investment projects.<\/p>\n
