\nWith a high sense of national pride and deep respect for the loyal defenders of the state and nation, I sincerely congratulate you all and personally all the people of independent Tajikistan on the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan.
\nFebruary 23rd is etched in gold letters into the modern history of Tajik statehood as a day embodying courage, fortitude, loyalty, and national honor. This date is a symbol of the stability of the foundations of independence, a sign of the firm will of statehood, and a clear testimony of society’s respect and gratitude to the defenders of borders and the Motherland.
\nThe establishment of the National Army coincided with an extremely sensitive and fateful period in the history of independent Tajikistan. At a time when the young state urgently needed to strengthen its political and legal foundations and restore state structures, the creation of the Armed Forces was identified as a vital and urgent task.
\nThanks to the wise policies and strong will of the Founder of Peace and National Unity \u2013 the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the National Army of Tajikistan was created from scratch and developed step by step, becoming a stable and reliable institution for the defense of the state.
\nIn the difficult conditions of the first years of independence, when the country faced serious internal and external threats, the legal, organizational, and material foundation of the armed forces was laid, creating a favorable basis for the formation of a regular, professional army that meets the demands of the times.
\nToday, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan are recognized as a reliable shield of the state, a guarantor of security, stability, and the protection of national interests. The continuous improvement of the military structure, the equipping of military units with modern equipment and technology, the increased professional training of officers and soldiers, and the improvement of the social conditions of service members testify to the constant attention of the state leadership to the development of the country’s defense potential. With a high sense of responsibility, loyalty to the Military Oath, and a strong patriotic spirit, the officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces proudly fulfill their sacred duty\u2014defending the independence, territorial integrity, and security of the state. Their courage and fortitude, exemplary discipline, and devotion are a source of pride for the nation and an example for the younger generation.
\nIn today’s world, characterized by various threats and rapid changes, protecting borders and the homeland, ensuring peace and stability, and strengthening national security is even more important. We are fully confident that military and law enforcement personnel will continue to faithfully serve the people and the homeland with a strong will, unwavering spirit, and high sense of responsibility.<\/p>\n
The anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces is a celebration for all the people of Tajikistan. After all, national security is the foundation of sustainable economic development, social progress, and the peaceful life of every citizen. With deep respect to all the valiant defenders of the Motherland, I wish you good health, strong will, pride, and new achievements in fulfilling your glorious military mission.
